Reece, Patricia "Pat" - of Millington, age 81, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Wellspring in Frankenmuth. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 3PM until 7PM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run.
Pat was born November 26, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Butterfield) Malmberg. Pat embraced life with a spirited energy that touched everyone around her. She graduated from Millington High School. On May 2, 1963, she married Arlyn Reece. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. She was a masterful quilter, a passionate crocheter, and an enthusiastic crafter whose creative spirit brightened the lives of those around her. She had a special gift for nurturing plants, earning her the reputation of having a green thumb, she delighted in tending to her garden and going to a good rummage sale. Pat’s love for animals and her warm, sassy personality endeared her to many. However, her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by her family for generations to come. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Surviving are: Husband of 62 years, Arlyn Reece; Sons: Michael (Shellie) Reece, Steve (Debbie) Reece and Ron (Jennifer) Reece; Grandchildren: Candi (David) Franzel, Tarah (Josh) Worley, Tony (Andrea) Reece, Nicole Nickens, Rachel (Jacob) Fahrenbruch, Shane Nickens, Kyle Reece and Brian Reece; Great grandchildren: Max and Julia Worley; Several nieces and nephews and friends. She is preceded in passing by her parents; Son, Daniel Reece; Brothers: Harvey Malmberg and Ken Malmberg. |
