Schmidt, Lorrie Kay (Hayes)- of Pensacola, Florida, age 59, died on Thursday, September 23, 2021, in Birmingham, Alabama. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced on a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Alley Cat Allies.
Lorrie was born April 12, 1962, to James and Cynthia (McNiel) Hayes. She graduated from Montrose High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree. Lorrie met the love of her life, Billy Williams, 2 years ago. She had a big heart and cared deeply for animals. She was the person who pulled over anywhere she saw a cat to make sure they were fed and well. Lorrie loved everyone and everyone loved her, she lit up any room she walked into. Lorrie lived life to the fullest and loved going out to eat and sharing her taste in food with her friends and family, she was always on the go and going to new restaurants and beaches. Lorrie had great taste in food and was always up to try new cuisine.
She was survived by: Loving Mother, Cynthia Hayes; Boyfriend, Billy William; Siblings: Marlo Hayes, and Robin Hayes; Nephew and Niece: Tyler (Erin) Hayes, and Alyssa Dewar.
