Robert L. Baum, 65 of Burlington, Iowa formerly of Keithsburg, IL died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at his home. Services are 11:00 AM Monday at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial is in National Cemetery Rock Island Arsenal where Military Services will be conducted. Visitation is from 9:00 AM until time of services Monday at Fippingers where a memorial fund will be established. He was born March 18, 1945 in Aledo to Robert and Louise Locey Baum. He graduated in 1965 from Aledo High School and married Joyce Leonhart October 23, 1965. He was employed for over 21 years at Sickels Dry Cleaning in Burlington retiring in 2007.
Bob was a U.S. Marine Serving in Vietnam and was a member of the Burlington VFW Post # 10102
Survivors include a daughter, Susan (Terry) Borkgren of Carlinville, IL, 3 sons Robert Baum and Bruce Baum both of Joy, IL. and Anthony Baum of Burlington, Iowa, 8 grandchildren with one lovingly expected, 1 great granddaughter Lexi Raeann and a brother Jimmie of Atlanta, Ga.
His parents and a son Thomas Justin preceded him in death
