SCHOOL, Linda Jean- age 76, of Linden, passed away December 28, 2025. Memorial Service 2:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Pastor Dawn Russell officiating. Visitation 12:00 PM-2:00 PM Saturday.
Linda was born September 5, 1949, in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Shirley(Michael) Gaines. She married Karl Donald School on January 31, 1970. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Ainsworth High School and later received her Bachelor's Degree from Baker College. She was employed as a production worker at The Saginaw Steering Gear Plant and retired from GM in 2007. Linda was a member of UAW Local #699. She enjoyed traveling and cruising with her husband, Karl. Linda also loved trips up to their boat in AuGres and crafting with her sisters. She especially cherished spending time with her family.
Linda is survived by her sons, Karl (Nancy) School, and Jeff (Heather) School; her three grandchildren, Ahna Marie (Joe) Howard, Katlyn Elizabeth (Tyler) Goodhue, and Ashton Donald School; great granddaughter, Stormly Marie Howard; sister, Crystal (Tom) Connelly.
