Kenneth Charles Kiesling of Davison, age 85 died Saturday July 24, 2021 at Ascension- Genesys Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday July 29, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Jeffrey Glover officiating: with burial to follow in Pinegrove Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Ken’s memory to the Davison Lions Club.
Kenneth was born on January 18, 1936 the son of the late Paul and Helen (Cox) Kielsing and resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Glenda Lou Galbraith on August 17, 1974. He has been an active member of the Davison Lions Club for over forty-one years. Ken had been employed by General Motors AC-Rochester Division until his retirement in 1993, with thirty-eight years of service.
Surviving is his wife Glenda, children: Richard Kiesling, Debbie (Lester) Gupton, Diana (Joe) Powell, and Treasa Kiesling-Gill. He also leaves his loving five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and sister Barbara Lang. He is preceded in death by brother, Cameron Kiesling, step brother Carl Herman, step sisters Sophie Gable and Irene Dessell, and brother-in-law Eugene Lang.
