Age 79 of Montrose passed away Friday, March 21, 2025.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 400 North Saginaw Street, Montrose with Father Brian Lenz officiating. The family will receive friends at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10 am for visitation.
Eloise was born August 15, 1945 in Fountain, the daughter of John and Meredith Bergez.
Eloise was a member of the altar society and Montrose Child Study Club. She enjoyed spending time reading, camping with her husband, and spending time with family and friends.
She married Anthony Sovis Jr. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on October 11, 1997.
She is survived by children Shelli Burkhardt, Paula Burtch, Joan (Jeff) Brands, Lorraine (Greg) Anderson, and Jane (Brent) West; grandchildren Lauren Burkhardt, Brianna (Josh) Pierson, Morgan (Justin) Mausolf, Cameron Brands, Ian (Shellaine) Anderson, Erika (Robert) Sumbera, James (Jamie) West, Shane (Autumn) West; great-grandchildren Brexleigh Sumbera, River Sumbera, Jalen West, Julionna West, Emma West, Mason West, Tegan West, Cyrus West and Caleb Pierson; other loving family and friends.
