Pauline Mary Hundley
Age 44, of Corunna, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Nelson-House Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm and on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 2pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 10am until the time of service.
Pauline was born on June 19, 1982, in Howell, Michigan, the beloved daughter of Thomas and Kim (Maine) Laier.
She graduated from Durand High School and continued her education at Michigan State University.
On July 29, 2023, she married the love of her life and forever best friend, Nicholas "Nick" Hundley, in Bancroft, Michigan. Their marriage was built on friendship, laughter, adventure, and an unwavering love for one another.
Pauline proudly worked at General Motors for more than 11 years. She was known for her incredible work ethic, determination, and willingness to tackle any challenge. She loved learning new equipment and teaching herself how things worked. Even while courageously undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Pauline continued to show up for work each day-a true testament to her strength, perseverance, and resilient spirit.
Pauline embraced life with unmatched enthusiasm. She loved camping, riding motorcycles with Nick, and spending time outdoors. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs and horses.
To know Pauline was to love her. She never met a stranger and had an infectious smile, a bubbly personality, and a heart that welcomed everyone. She was quick with a joke, loved teasing those she cared about, and could always be counted on to bring laughter wherever she went. Her larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all, Pauline cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother, and an adoring grandmother. Known affectionately as "Bunny" to her grandchildren, they were truly the light of her life and her greatest joy. She treasured every moment spent with them. She was also lovingly known as "Aunt P" or "PP" to her nieces and nephews, sharing with them the same love and laughter.
Pauline lived boldly, authentically, and unapologetically. She faced every challenge with courage, celebrated every joy with enthusiasm, and remained true to herself until the very end. Her legacy of strength, kindness, humor, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nick Hundley; her children, Caiden Laier, Dakota Hundley, and Alexis (Tanner) Moore; her beloved grandchildren, Payson, Oakes, and one precious grandchild on the way; her parents, Tom and Kim Laier; her siblings, Michelle Schneider (Dan), Tommy Laier (Sara), Eric Laier (Jennifer Tucker); her nieces and nephews, Maddie, Tyler, Alexis, Cameron, Joslyn, Will, Chase, and Reese; her parents-in-law, Bill and Betty Hundley; her brothers-in-law, Gene and Shawn; her faithful companions, Chewy and Hans; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to local cancer charities.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Pauline throughout her courageous journey.
