STIVERSON II, William Howard - Age 57, of Fenton, died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Saturday from 5-9 PM, Sunday from 3-9 PM and at church Monday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. A vigil service will be held 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign. Will was born November 23, 1953 in Flint, the son of Howard James and Mary Ellis (Powell) Stiverson. He was a 1972 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and a graduate of MSU where he received his Nursing Home Administration certification. He also was an apprentice electrician and a Rock and Roll Band manager for the band SASS. He married Kerri Champion October 25, 1980 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. Will resided in Fenton his entire life. He was the Administrator at Argentine Care Center for the past 20 years. He was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic minister and served as an Applefest Chair person. He also was a Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, registered scuba diver, member of Crane's Cove Ski Club and was a licensed pilot. Surviving are: wife, Kerri; 4 children, Kylee Tigner (Todd Parkinson) of Davison, William Stiverson III of Fenton, Whitney Stiverson of Fenton and Kristopher Stiverson of Fenton; 2 grandchildren, Reagan and Logan; sister, Lauren Cameron-Carter and husband Mark of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Jimmy Stiverson and wife Maria of Fenton; mother-in-law, Linda Vanston and husband Paul of Grand Blanc; grandmother, Dorothy Vuckovich of Oregon; 3 sisters-in-law, Darci Champion of Fenton, Mary Stiverson of Montrose and Katherine Saslow and husband Eric of California; 3 brothers-in-law, Barry Mishall and wife Carol of Florida, Jim Mishall and wife Elaine of Linden and Jim Kaltsas and wife Terry of California; many nieces and nephews. Will was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Robert "Bo" Latting and Timothy Stiverson. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
