Michael Allen Micketti, aged 65, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. Born on January 19, 1960, in Flint, Michigan, Michael was a longtime resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan.
Michael dedicated 43 years of his professional life to Macksoods Inc, where he made significant contributions. He was married to the love of his life, Michelle, for 28 wonderful years.
In his personal time, Michael loved tinkering in the barn and spending time at the hunting camp with friends. He was known as the master of the remote and enjoyed playing softball in his younger days.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle, and his brother, Brian Micketti of Oklahoma; and uncle, Michael F. (Jean) Micketti. He also leaves behind his nieces, Samantha (John) Hoover, Stephanie (Matt) Nowiski, Kim Kalakay, Christina, Jennifer (Michael) Lewis, and Brett (Megan) Kuehl; great nieces and nephews: Lilly, Maddie, Alaina, Everette, Dale and Leia; sister-in-laws, Joanne (Ken) Kalakay and Mary Beth Ureche. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ruth Micketti, his brother, Jim Micketti; and sister-in-law, Laurie Kuehl.
Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Michael's life and legacy. A Funeral Visitation will be held on November 28, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Reigle Funeral Home/Sunset Chapel, located at 5501 West Pierson Road, Flushing, MI 48433. The Funeral Service will take place at the same location on November 29, 2025, at 12:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior. A Graveside Service will follow at Flint Memorial Park, 9506 N Dort Hwy, Mount Morris, MI 48458, at 2:00 pm.
