SHORT, Lacey Lauretta - Age 32, of Byron died suddenly Friday, July 31, 2020. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the Hurley Children's Miracle Network or the Ronald McDonald House.
Lacey was born October 5, 1987 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint at only 28 weeks but she beat all the odds despite her many ailments. She graduated in 2007 from Linden High School. Lacey had a great love for everyone. Lacey enjoyed going to dinner with family and friends. She was always chipper and happy. She was sure to attend every family gathering and loved to keep everyone informed about anything new going on.
Surviving are: her mother, Renita (Ron) Brewer of Bancroft; sisters, Tracy (Kevin) Ross of Lapeer and Stacy Smith of Columbiaville; many nieces and nephews, and one great nephew Everest.
