TRUNDLE, Phyllis Anne- Age 77, of Swartz Creek, died January 17, 2017. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday January 20, at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Entombment to follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3-8 PM and Thursday from 2-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, or McLaren Hospice Care.
Phyllis was born November 30, 1939 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Erma (Vanderhyde) Michna. She married George Trundle in Charles Town, West Virginia on October 24, 1959. She was an active member of St. Mary Queen of Angels. She was a part of the Catholic Woman's Ministry having dedicated her time working on many funeral dinners. She was a volunteer at the Swartz Creek Senior Center and assisted on the travel committee, and the Swartz Creek Food Pantry. Phyllis loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader, card player, an incredible cook, and liked to walk with her special friend, Betsy.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George; children, Michael (Debra) Trundle and Martina (Randy) Hazard; grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Foust, Kayla (Michael) Bright, Derek Hazard, and Andrew Trundle; her first great grandchild will be arriving any time; sister, Rita (Gary) Lien; brother, Kenneth (Linda) Michna.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Erma Michna; three brothers, Warren, Charles Duane, and Ronald Michna.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to McLaren Hospice of Davison, especially to Jodi and Melissa, for the outstanding care they gave Phyllis.
