JOHNSTON, Aleksei Samuel – 28 years young, from Davison, MI, went to meet Jesus on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Please join us for a Celebration of Aleksei’s Life at 11 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville, MI 48463; Pastor Autumn Howard officiating. The family will receive visitors 12-2 PM and 4-7 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423 and again on Thursday at church, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for Aleksei’s nieces’ college fund.
Aleksei was born in Ivanovo, Russia on July 22, 1997, adopted in love on February 22, 2000, by Jonathon and Jennifer (Treichel) Johnston. Treasured son, beloved brother, loved by many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends. Aleksei had a generous spirit, a tender heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand, a true light in the darkness. Aleksei lived in Davison since his adoption at two years old, graduated high school from Waterbrook Christian Academy and worked as a mechanic at American RV. His family has hope and confidence knowing he is alive and well, healed and whole, in the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ. Their evidence being his transformed life and confession of Jesus as his Savior. Aleksei was greeted in heaven by his grandma Sharon Treichel and waiting to see him in the resurrection life are his parents: Pastor Jonathon (Lapeer Church of the Nazarene) and Jennifer Johnston of Davison; brothers: Mikhail (US Navy) and Dimitri and his wife Andrea (aka “sister”), nieces, Anya and Macy; and a boatload of treasured cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and hundreds of friends.
