Lewis, Darlene - Age 75, of Flint, passed away September 10, 2026. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Darlene was born on May 14, 1951, in Detroit, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Scott) Boza. Darlene retired from General Motors, where she served as a team leader. She married Lonnie Lewis on June 17, 2000. Darlene loved gardening, flowers, and caring for her backyard, which became a beautiful oasis through her green thumb and loving attention. She also shared many happy times playing bingo, especially with her daughter Tammy. Above all, Darlene cherished her family. She is survived by husband, Lonnie C. Lewis; her daughter, Tammy (Scott) Dean; grandchildren Tony Dean, Joshua Dean, Maxwell Dean, and Desiree McGuire; great-grandchildren, Beksley Dean and Colton Dean. stepchildren, Jeremy (Ashley) Lewis and Jennifer (Jake) Thomas; siblings, Robert Boza, Violet (Jerry) Rodgers, and Georgie Cornwell; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Boza; mother, Dorothy Cornwell; her son, Larry "Scott" McGuire; brother, Lavern Boza; sister, Luci Evens; sister-in-law, Mary Boza.
