MULLINS, Carolyn Jane - Of Durand, age 73, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Bishop Mark Fernandez officiating.
Burial in Fremont Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Visitation 4-8pm Sunday and 12pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Carolyn was born in Caretta, West Virginia July 4, 1945, the daughter of the late Kerby and Mary (Kastanas) Ward. Carolyn owned a greenhouse, enjoyed gardening and her jewelry. She was a member of Durand Church of God. Carolyn enjoyed socializing with her family at the Birthday Club.
Surviving are son, Anthony (Janet) Mullins;
grandchildren, Jessica and Jerrod;
brothers, Duane (Deborah), Jerry (Frances), Ronald (Alicia), Darrell (Debbie);
sisters, Chris (Dave) Lewis, Charlotte (Randy) Hawley and Rachael Mys.
She leaves behind a host of family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford, parents, Kerby and Mary and brother-in-law, Mike Mys.
