Age 79, of Montrose, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Bonnie’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Bonnie Beryl (Burson) Case was born on June 6, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Otis and Beryl (Boyce) Burson. Bonnie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed. A lifelong resident of Montrose, Bonnie had several professions throughout her life but was best known as a Realtor with Patsy Stiles and Associates to many residents of the area. Her finest accomplishment was 36 consecutive years as Worlds Greatest Grandmother, uncontested.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Angie (Andrew) Brandt of Montrose, Mike (Kennetha) Case of Saginaw; her granddaughters, Brittany (Aaron), Kailee; her grandson, Bowie; her great grandchildren, Violet and Alex; her brothers in-law, Roger (Elaine) and Marshall Case; and her beloved rescue kitties, Mama, Carl, Luna, Ollie and Poppi.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey, of 59 years, her parents, brother Hershel and granddaughter Willow. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Gentiva Hospice for all of their care and kindness, allowing Bonnie to remain at home until the end. |
