Patricia A. Griffith, age 90, of Owosso, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Michael O'Brien officiating. Patricia will be laid to rest at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m.
Patricia was born on May 23, 1935, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Patrick and Helen (Spurling).
A devoted and active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Patricia lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and service to others. She was also a proud member of the Durand Eagles, participated in a women’s bowling league, and served as past secretary of the Shiawassee Real Estate Board. Patricia found joy in time spent with friends, community activities, and especially with her family. She enjoyed laughter, gatherings, and creating lasting memories with those she loved most.
On July 10, 1953, she married the love of her life, Raymond “Jack” Griffith, in Flint, Michigan. Together they built a wonderful life. He preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love they shared.
Patricia dedicated many years to working in real estate, where she built meaningful connections within her community. Above all, she was a devoted mother and homemaker, raising her eight children with unwavering love, strength, and guidance.
She is survived by her loving children, Dale (Debbie) Griffith; Gregory (Cheryl) Griffith; Dawn (Don) Early; Kimberley (Chris) Newell; Rhonda Beebe; Michael (Penny) Griffith; and Michal (Teresa) Kubes; along with many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her sons Steven and Raymond Griffith Jr., and her parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice or in honor of causes close to Patricia’s heart.
