Calvin E. Marks age 89 of Durand, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Vibrant Life Senior Living of Durand. There are no services at this time. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes of Durand.
Calvin Edwin Marks was born on February 23, 1936 in Owosso, a son of Elmer and Josephine (Rigling) Marks. on May 5, 1958 he married Mary Jo Horton. Calvin enjoyed golfing and gardening in both Michigan and Arizona. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for General Motors for over 30 years and EDS.
Calvin is survived by his daughter, Lynne (Tom) Bowden; grandchildren, Laura (Jeremy Suckow) Bowden, Axel (Jasmine) Bowden and Orianne (Russell) Stevens) Bowden; great grandchildren, Lexa and Silas; siblings, Robert Marks, June (Gary) Ellis and Jane (Joe) Wesley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Marks; parents, Elmer and Josephine Marks; brother, Al Marks; and sister in-law, Rose Marks.
