Ralph Evan Cribbs, age 91, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, at his home. Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Monday.
Ralph was born June 26, 1934 in Flint, the son of the late Edward and Martha (Sutter) Cribbs. He graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in 1952. Ralph continued his education at GMI in Skill Trades. He worked for GM for 40 years until his retirement in 1991 as a supervisor. Ralph married Louana "Bonnie" Trovillion on August 20, 1955. Sadly, she preceded him in death on January 25, 2014. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ralph was an avid sportsman, enjoying the outdoors and hunting majority of his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Tom) Longridge; son, Jeffrey Cribbs; granddaughter, Tara Longridge; great-grandson, Theo Maxwell; brother-in-law, Tim Stamm; special friend, Elizabeth Gilmour; and several nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lauren Longridge; sister, Shirley Curran and her husband, Gerald, and Sharon Stamm.
