Patricia Ann Wendling, age 83, of Chesaning, Michigan, passed away on March 13, 2026 at Edgewood Assisted Living Facility in Saginaw, Michigan.
Patricia was born on August 30, 1942, to John and Anna (Bila) Kadlec, in Chesaning. She graduated from Chesaning High School with the class of 1960. She later met the love of her life, Philinus “Flip” Wendling. They were married on June 10, 1961 and raised four children together; Debbie and Chuck Larner, Cheri and Daryl Irland, Carmen and Kyle Gross, and Derek and Stacey Wendling. She and Flip shared 45 years together before his passing in 2006.
During her life, Pat was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed working for Meals on Wheels and providing food for those in need. Later in life she enjoyed traveling and spending time with Dennis Yaklin. Pat loved her grandchildren: Matt, Caleb, Anna, Jesse, Karly, Gage, Brandon, Courtney, Brett, Brody and Blake and great grandchildren: Charlotte, Simon, Harper and Henry.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Chesaning. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service. |
