BARR, Sandra K. – of Mt. Morris, age 73, died on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at McLaren Flint. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. A memorial service will be held at a later date when it is safe for family and friends to gather.
Sandra was born July 29, 1946 in Flint, Michigan to the late Alvin and Lola (Bain) Henry. She lived in Mt. Morris all of her life and attended Mt. Morris Schools. Sandra married Earl Jerke on March 3, 1966. He preceded her in death. She later married Marvin Barr on September 14, 1985. Sandra was the life of the party and loved to have fun, dance, listen to music, and sing. She also loved animals. Sandra had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Above all, she loved her family dearly.
Surviving are: Children: Gary Jerke, Sherry (Jerry) Stanbery, Timothy Jerke (Carol Clemens), Tonya Jerke (Matt Justus), and Tina Mosher (Dan McMann); Companion, Philip Parks; Grandchildren: Justin, Ashley, Victoria, and Kristal Justus, Zak and Kaycee Mosher; 2 great grandchildren on the way; Sister, Beverly (Louis) Aponte; Many other loving family members and dear friends; Sandra was also preceded in death by: Nephews: Paul and Bryan Smith; Niece, Kay Smith; Companion, Rick Workman.
