James (Jim) Patrick Jaissle of Otisville formerly of Davison, age 65, passed away Sunday October 20, 2025 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends will casually gather from 12:00-4:00 pm Friday October 24, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Otisville Hotel 116 W. Main St. Otisville from 5:00-9:00 pm everyone is welcome. Those desiring may make contributions in Jim’s memory to Moses Miracles, Flushing Michigan.
Jim was born in Flint Michigan on August 17, 1960 the son of the late Floyd and Mary (Dodge) Jaissle and had resided in Davison in his early years spending the last twenty-seven years in Otisville. He was joined in marriage to Faye Johnson on September 8, 2000. Jim was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1979 and he continued his education graduating from Delta College. Jim was a simple man who enjoyed the everyday things in life, his ability to make everyone laugh was a true trait, from a funny story or his goofy antics he truly touched the lives of all who knew him.
He was diligent about working out and keeping his body and mind in shape. Jim was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors on his numerous camping trips with family. His love of muscle cars was consuming first with his Chevrolet Nova which he rebuilt and repainted on many occasions; his trips to numerous car shows in Frankenmuth and other Michigan cities. Jim enjoyed traveling with his wife and daughter. Jim proudly served his community over the years as a volunteer firefighter for Davison Area Fire Dept, as a Reserve Officer for Genesee Township, and as a Paramedic for Hansen EMS.
Jim was a hardworking man and his careers span numerous years and occupations. He started as a rural route carrier for the Flint Journal for many years, he later entered the field of EMS were he would earn his paramedic license and start his path in the medical field first as a ER Tech for McLaren Hospital and later as a Registered Nurse a profession that spans from 1996 – 2024. Jim returned to the work force and was presently employed by Insight Pain Management.
He leaves to cherish his memory wife Faye, and daughter Kristin Jaissle. He also leaves a host of extended family and numerous friends. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
