STEBBINS, Delores Evelyn – of Davison, age 85, passed away, Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Cottage of Davison. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, November 4, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Garry Beecher officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 PM and 4-6 PM Sunday and 10-11 AM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America or the National Down Syndrome Society.
Delores was born in Flint, MI on November 30, 1933, daughter of the late Clifford and Evelyn (Azelton) Winkles. She married Lawrence Stebbins on July 28, 1962 and he preceded her in death on October 9, 1996. Delores worked at AC Spark Plug for 17 years. She enjoyed crafts, traveling, playing cards, playing the piano and singing with the Sweet Adelines. She was a member of the Holiday Ramblers and Russelville Wesleyan Church. Delores was a baseball fan, especially of the Detroit Tigers. Most of all, Delores loved spending time with her family.
Delores is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mike) Allinger; grandchildren, Jennifer (Marty) Wright, Chad (Leslie) Simpson, Nicholas Simpson, Matthew (Wayne) Reed, Sean (Cassandra) Monahan, Kaitlin (Thomas) Breeden; great grandchildren, Tyler (Jenae) Wright, Kyle Wright, Nicole Wright, Cuyler Simpson, Jovie Simpson, Noelle Simpson; sister-in-law, Shirley Winkles; nephew, Dick (Cathi) Winkles. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Coote; daughter, KayAnn (Stebbins) Monahan; brothers, Arthur Winkles and Richard Winkles.
