Walden, James Allen of Flushing, age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Boillat will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery.
James was born in Paragould, Arkansas on October 4, 1937, the son of Louis and Clarice (Stevenson) Walden. He married Marion on June 6, 1959, in Flushing. James retired from AC Spark Plug in 1995. He was a member of the UAW Local 651 and the New Lothrop Masonic Lodge. James was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Marion; children, Victoria, Loretta (Darren), Nancy (Eric); grandchildren, Ashley, Tim, Jason, Heather, Joe, Tom, Cecilia, Sam; several great-grandchildren; brother, Max; and sister, Fayetta. James was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Cloyce and Bill. |
