NEELEY, Kenneth – of Montrose, formerly of Flint, age 72, died Thursday, June 26, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 1PM until 3PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Rogel Cancer Center at University of Michigan.
Kenneth was born November 4, 1952, in Flint, to the late Kenneth and Joan (Mullin) Neeley. He graduated from Flint Central High School and honorably served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, Ken was an electrician at General Motors for over 30 years. He married his beloved wife and best friend, Donna Wismer, on May 14, 1977, and together they shared 48 years of marriage. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins, and he especially liked to take his motorcycle out for a spin - however, nothing rivaled Ken’s love for his children and grandchildren.
Ken is forever loved by: Wife, Donna Neeley; Children: Laura (Stephen) Cole and Katrina (Matthew) Foltz; Grandchildren: Harley, Allison, and Colton; Siblings: Barbara Rose (Harry) Thompson, Loretta (Clinton) Stowers, Charles (Laurie) Neeley, and Sandy CoyKendall; In-laws: Linda Neeley, Bill Barclay, Walt Saxton, Debra (Roy) Crites, David (Kim) Wismer, Daniel (Travis) Wismer, and Greg Brown; Mother-in-law, Doris Wismer; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many wonderful lifelong friends. Ken was preceded in death by: Parents, Kenneth and Joan; Siblings: Michael Neeley, Joan Louise Auger, Deborah Barclay, Dorothy Saxton, and Dwayne Neeley; Brother-in-law, Donald CoyKendall; Sister-in-law, Diane Brown; Father-in-law, Harley Wismer. |
