MOLINA, Antonia P. – of Flint, Michigan, age 99, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Rd., Flint, Michigan, 48505; Father Timothy Nelson celebrant. Interment will take place following the Mass in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM to 7 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and one hour prior to the Mass on Thursday at church. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home. Per Antonia’s request, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Antonia was born in Charco, Texas on August 28, 1923, daughter of the late Jose and Altagracia (Rodriguez) Perez. She married Angel Molina in 1938 and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1970. Antonia was a proud mother of 12 children, but she was called “Mom” by many others. She was an active and longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, OLG Altar Society and Club Misionero. Antonia was known for selling the most fiesta raffle tickets. Antonia made many special friends including, Ofelia Luna, Olivia Aguilar, Concha Aguilar, Inez Torres, Delfina Hernandez and Lupita. Father Eduardo Lorenzo and Antonia were close friends, and she enjoyed many years of assisting him in his Priesthood. Antonia was the owner and operator of El Monterrey restaurant in Flint for more than 15 years and up until the time of her passing, she had several customers that worked at Buick who still ordered from her. Mrs. Molina was loved by many in her community and received many awards for her work. She will be missed by many.

Antonia is survived by children, Estela Triplett, Jane (Robert) Rubio, Angel Molina, Gloria Molina, Mary Molina, Debby Molina, Teresa (Asdrubal) Ramirez, Julian Molina, Scott (Rhonda) Allen and Areen Bathish; 33 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 43 great-great-grandchildren, many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her children, Olga Pulido, Guadalupe Molina, Josephine Pacheco and Connie Molina.

The family would like to thank her very beloved neighbors, Patty and Dave, who were always there for Grandma.
