MILLER, James “JD” – of Fenton, age 77, died peacefully Saturday, March 23, 2024, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Special Olympics Michigan or to the family for future designation.
James was born June 15, 1946, in Missouri, to the late James and Pansy (Reeves) Miller. He attended Flint Northern High School where he received his high school diploma. James was an incredible salesman for several companies for much of his life. He married his best friend, Kathy Lloyd, and together they attended the Fenton United Methodist Church. Kathy preceded him in death on December 24, 2021. James was a social man who knew no stranger and made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he absolutely loved to go out dancing or golfing. James had a spirit larger than life and would light up any room he entered at social gatherings. His unique sense of humor was sure to brighten even the dullest of days. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to James’ good friend, Darryl, for his loyalty and friendship over the years, and to nurses Kugar and Lindy with The Medical Team Hospice for their compassion, support, and professionalism during James’ final days.
James is forever remembered by his Children: Brian (Marlene) Miller and Carrie (Christopher) Williams; Granddaughters: Alyssa Evolga and Olivia Miller; Brother, Larry (Kay) Miller; Niece, Nikki (John) Montney; Nephew, Scott Miller; Beloved friend, Darryl; Wonderful friends at the Flushing United Methodist Church. James was preceded in death by his Parents, James and Pansy; Beloved wife, Kathy Miller. |
