WOOD, Neva Pauline - Of Grand Blanc, age 90, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 28, 2018.
Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Shawn Kook officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Faith Baptist School.
Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday and 9am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Neva was born in Lawson, West Virginia on April 20, 1927, the daughter of O.J. and Pansy (Griffith) Ransom and was a resident of the Flint area the past 41 years. Pauline was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Davison. Prior to that, Bently Wesleyan Church of Burton for many years.
Surviving are husband of 71 years, Orville;
son, Kenneth (Phyllis) of Davison;
daughter, Sandra of Flint;
grandchildren; Tammy (Mike) Mize, Kimberly (Ray) Voigt, Chris Wood;
great-grandchildren, Lindsey Lanigan, Jordan Wood, Ryan Brooks and Kailey Mize;
and three 3 sisters; Marylene Coleman Evelyene Mann, Eileen Lilly;
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Eugene Ransom, and great-grandson Ian Mize.
Thank you to American House of Grand Blanc staff for their loving care they provided to Pauline in her times of need. Also, many thanks to The Medical Team Hospice and Michelle, for their very compassionate care for Pauline and our family.
