FLYNN, Joanne Marie - Of Burton, age 80, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Heartland Healthcare Center-Briarwood.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Rene Garcia officiating.
Burial in Cottage Cemetery, Otisville, Michigan.
No public visitation.

Joanne was born in Flint, Michigan on April 24, 1939, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys (Broughton) Heit.
On April 15, 1961 she married the late John Flynn in Flint.
She had a big heart.
She loved plants and knitting.
Joanne was a homemaker for 5 beloved children and husband, spending time with her family was her favorite way to pass the time.
Surviving are children, Penny Brewer, John J. Flynn, Keith (Tina) Flynn, Scott Flynn, Michelle Ellsworth;
grandchildren, Todd (Donyelle Roberts) Shinabarger, Keith D. (Charna) Flynn, Angel Syrowik, Ashley (Chad Hickey) Syrowik, Tiffany (Ryan Graham) Syrowik, Stephen (Taylor Valley) Syrowik and Tonya Gonzales;
several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Flynn; parents, Joseph and Gladys Heit; great-granddaughter, Alyveah Hickey; daughter-in-law, Wanda Flynn; 2 brothers, Robert and Harold Heit.
