Bonnie Vella Thurlow of Davison formerly of Otisville, age 78, died Friday October 16, 2020 at McCandlish Manor. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services and burial on the family plot will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Bonnie’s memory to the charity of your choice.
Bonnie was born in Flint Michigan on July 30, 1942 the daughter of the late Robert James & Grace Vivian (Phillips) Thurlow and has resided in the area her entire life. Bonnie had a heart of gold and would share or give anything she had to those that needed it, including sewing and quilting baby blankets for all the nieces, nephews and babies in the family. She was a life member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene and had been employed by Genesys Hospital until her retirement in 2007.
She leaves to cherish her memory siblings: LaVerne (Sharon) Thurlow, Bev Terwilliger, Audrey (Jerry) Simmonds, Cliff (Cindy) Thurlow, Leo (Cindy) Thurlow, and Gordon (Elsie) Thurlow. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by brother-in-law Bob Terwilliger, sister-in-law Judy Thurlow, and nephew Noel Thurlow.
