Augusto Nolasco Singson – Age 80, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Father Leronio Vodivodi officiating.
Visitation will be held at 4 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, followed by a Rosary at 7pm at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held at 9:30am until the time of Mass at the church.
Augusto was born on August 28, 1945, in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, the son of the late Dr. Carlos and Salvacion (Nolasco) Singson. He married
the love of his life, Felisa R. Singson, on October 17, 1970. Augusto arrived in Flint, Michigan in April 1982 as a first-generation immigrant and built a successful career until he retired from Willow Brook Manor in 2012 at the age of 67, after many years of service.
Augusto’s ultimate passion was his family, closely followed by Karaoke, Oldies Music, You Tube, Casino and Mah Jong. He adored and loved his wife of 55 years, Felisa. They met in 1969 and have been together ever since. In 1971 his son Mervin was born, and they were joined in 1979 by his daughter
Monique. They were the center of his life. In 2001, he became a grandfather with the birth of the first of his five grandchildren, Joshua. Joshua was
followed by Noah, Joseph, Oliver and Jacob. He cherished every moment with his grandchildren and brimmed with love and pride every time he saw them.
Augusto is survived by his beloved wife Felisa, son Mervin (Susan), daughter Monique (Ryan); Grandchildren, Noah, Oliver, Joshua, Joseph, Jacob;
Sister, Elisea (Antonio); Brothers, Fernando (Alice), Benjamin (Consolacion), Jorge (Zenaida); Brother-in-law, Johnny (Hermie); Sister-in-law, Zenaida (Rody) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr Carlos and Salvacion (Nolasco) Singson; Father-in-Law: Attorney Agileo R. Redoble, Mother-in-Law: Maria R. Redoble; Step Mother-in-Law: Corazon A. Redoble.
