Ertel, William Carl (Bill) - Age 80, of Flint, passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his wife and daughters. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Bill is survived by his wife, Lois of 58 years; daughters, Kathy(Alfredo) Villarreal, Debbie (Greg) Maroun; granddaughters, Christina Villarreal, Andrea (Blake) Anderson; grandson, Nate Maroun; great grandsons, Carter and Trey. He worked at General Motors, retiring in 1993. He loved woodworking, traveling and sending time with his family. Bill enjoyed a second home at Houghton Lake for many years. He loved fishing, camping, golf, and his friends. Bill especially loved his grandkids, going to every recital, school program and sporting event. A celebration of Bill's life is planned for Sunday September 13th at Bristol United Methodist Church at 2PM. Chaplain Donald Bennett officiating. Help us celebrate his new life with his Heavenly Father where there is no more sorrow and no more pain. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Grace Hospice.
