MARSHALL, Jr., Robert Leroy – Age 76, of Flushing, died Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his home in Flushing. Mr. Marshall was born on May 28, 1944 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Robert Sr. and Leota (Hammerlein). He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Bob was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church, a member and past Grand Knight of the St. Robert’s Knights of Columbus, past Committee President for Boy Scout Troop 206, previous President of the St. Robert’s Men’s Club, and a Trustee for the Flushing Moose Lodge where he received his blue coat as a Legionnaire. He worked at General Motors in Flint for thirty-five years until he retired in 1999. Surviving Robert are his three boys, Michael Marshall, Jim Marshall, Ryan and his wife Lori Marshall; grandchildren, Taylor, Grant and Harper; sisters Diane Lancaster and Penny O’Toole. Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife Ruth who passed away in January 2013. Due to Covid-19, a limited showing for immediate family members only will be held at the Reigle Funeral Home followed by a procession to New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. |
