PEREZ, Maria "Judy" Y. - Died peacefully and surrounded by her family on October 21, 2015, in Flint, Michigan at the age of 67.
The family will welcome visitors on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. at Swartz Funeral Home, located at 1225 W. Hill Rd, Flint MI. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, October 26, at 11 a.m. at Swartz Funeral Home, Deacon Martin Rachid officiating.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Association.
Maria is survived by her father, Frank Ruiz; children, Kelly Fleming (Bob), Robert Perez (Annette), Connie Marean (David), Jason Perez; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Logan, Elina, Jack, Austin, Josephine, Fallon, and Celina; great-grandchild, Sophia. She is preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Ruiz.
Maria loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed cooking and decorating for every holiday.
The family would like to thank Dr. Arvind Kunadi, MD, for his efforts in treating Maria and for his kind and supportive demeanor to the family in her final days. The family would also like to thank the CCU nurses on the 6th floor at McLaren Health Care in Flint, MI.
