WALDRON, Gladys M. - of Flint, age 96, died on Friday, June 9, 2021, at her residence with family by her side. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. A Celebration of Gladys’ Life will be held at 1PM Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Real Life Church (Formerly Lamb of God) in Montrose. Ryan Craig officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Gladys was born March 19, 1925, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Frederick and Hyacinth (Rowe) Hocking. She was a member of Salvation Army Church. Gladys enjoyed reading and was a social butterfly who could talk to anyone. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Daughter, Nanette (Mike) Shustock; Son, Calvin Waldron; Daughters in law: Mae Waldron, and Roberta Thomas; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; Many other loving family members, friends, and neighbors. Gladys was also preceded in death by: Former husbands: Elwood Thomas, and Neil Waldron; Daughter, Marie Whitney; Sons: Frederick Waldron, and Rex Thomas; Grandchildren: Lisa Westbrook, Logan and Laura Waldron; Great grandson, Timothy Shustock; Sisters: Charlotte Lane, Dorothy Culp, and Martha Webb.
