HOLTZ, Henry - Age 86, of Flushing, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026. Funeral services will be held 1;00 PM Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service.

Henry was born March 16, 1940 in Germany, the son of Peter and Margaret (Augustinov) Holtz. He married Patsy Sue LaGore May 27, 1961 and she preceded him in April 21, 2023. He had resided in Flushing since December coming from Swartz Creek/Roseville. Henry retired from Detroit Edison after 20 years of service as a boiler operator; he had also been employed by Sanders Candies in Detroit. He enjoyed bowling, traveling, watching hockey, going to Air Shows, and picking fruits at Blake's Orchard.

Surviving are: his sons, Peter (Tifany Wieland) Holtz of Livonia, David (Helen) Holtz of Flushing, and Matthew (Berkley Browne-Holtz) Holtz of Royal Oak; grandchildren, Sierra Holtz of Flushing, Rebecca Holtz of Flushing, Ive Holtz of Warren, and Emily Holtz of Warren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Margaret Holtz; and sister, Cathy Holtz. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
