Taylor, Barbara Ellen (Brewer), age 90 of Ortonville, passed away September 3, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 5, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter to the late Donald and Senia Brooks (nee Rakho). Loving wife of the late Kenneth Taylor, dear mother of Gary (Jackie) Brewer, Wanda Jakubiec, Donna Brewer and Senia Brewer; proud grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 19 and great-great grandmother of 10. Sister of Arnold (Millie) Brooks, the late Ronald Brooks, and the late Kathleen Roberts. Also survived by many loving extended family and friends. Barbara enjoyed crafting, crocheting, sewing, golf, bowling and solving jigsaw puzzles. She retired from General Telephone after 20 years of service. A Celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date to be determined. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Village Funeral Home of Ortonville.
