Paulette Elaine Krotzer, age 69, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, surrounded by her family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka will officiate with interment following in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Monday evening the family and parish will gather to pray the rosary at 7:00 PM. Prior to the Mass on Tuesday morning Paulette will be taken to church to lie in state at 9:30 AM.
Paulette was born on December 9, 1954 in Owosso, the daughter of the late Lyle and Helen (Szarka) Russell. She graduated from Rochester Adams High School, class of 1973. Paulette and Larry Krotzer were united in marriage on May 28, 1977. She enjoyed caring for her family. Paulette would always help with babysitting, church functions and school activities. She was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, helping with luncheons, and singing in the choir. Paulette enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, and shopping. Her most cherished times were when she was with her family and making memories with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry; daughters, Katrina (Shaun) Karsten and Deanna (Eric) Stout; grandchildren, Duane, Allison, Max, Emmalyn, Alex and Melody; siblings, Steve (Rene) Russell, Ed Russell and Sue (Brian) McLane; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paulette was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Russell; father, Lyle (Noni) Russell; and siblings, David Russell and Don Russell. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
