She was preceded in death by her husband, Vassily Ivanovich Nikolsky, and brother Nikolai Anatolevich Fedorov. She is survived by a son and daughter, Oleg and Nadegda Nikolsky.

She was born in Leningrad, USSR on November 22, 1945, the daughter of Nadegda Alexandrovna Fedorova (Belova) and Anatoly Vladimirovich Fedorov – civil engineer who designed highways and railroads all over the Soviet Union. She was joined in marriage to Vassily December 29, 1971 in Leningrad, USSR. Olga also studied civil engineering but followed her husband to the United States March 23, 1973 for a better life and after Vassily’s early passing, she dedicated her life to her children. She became a United States Citizen May 6, 2002. She lived her entire life in Leningrad then in Flint, MI. Olga knows operas and flowers. She held many jobs, including working for General Motors for 13 years at Buick City, Grand Blanc Metal Fab and finally at Flint Truck and Bus, UAW Local 598. Olga stayed active in retirement after GM, continuing to work part-time, going for walks, riding her bike, going kayaking, working in the yard and gardening. She passed her love of the outdoors and traveling to her children. One thing that brought her joy was genealogy and her family’s history, translating old letters and expanding her family. She was supportive and always ready to help anyone who needed it. Olga enjoyed culture and the arts while traveling. When she traveled locally, she loved introducing others to both culture and the arts, and if they showed interest, she would happily explain what she knew. We invite you to donate to the American Lung Association in her honor, in lieu of sending flowers. https://action.lung.org/site/DocServer/2020_ALA_Printable_Donation_Form.pdf
