JANSEN, Robert H., Jr.- age 74, of Fenton, died November 29,2017 at Genesys Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held 11AM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silverlake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Adopt a Pet, Fenton, MI.
Robert was born November 28,1943 in Flint, the son of Robert H. and Bessie L. (Dimock) Jansen, Sr. He married Carol A. Bourdon in Las Vegas on July 20,1989. Robert retired from GM after 42 years of service. He was a proud member of UAW Local 599. Robert was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. He enjoyed travel, living on Lake Ponemah, boating and fishing. He loved his dogs "Merry" and "Midnight".
Surviving are his wife: Carol; children, Deanna (Robert) Goralczyk, and Christine Bourdon (Kenneth Stewart); grandchildren, Tyler, Drew, Lindsey, Daniel, Lauren, and Leah; sister, Patricia; many cousins, including, Rayann and. Ken.
