Boven, Michelle L. – of Clio, age 60, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Gary Boven officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
Michelle was born May 29, 1956, in Flint, Michigan to L.D. and Alice (Cockerill) Hausler. She had resided in the Clio area most of her life. She graduated from Clio High School in 1974. Michelle married William Boven on April 20, 1991. She was employed as a chef at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth for 26 years.
Surviving are: Husband, Ted; 2 children: Shelley (Greg) Bauer of Caledonia and Chad (Jennifer) Wentworth of Louisville, KY., 5 grandchildren: Joshua, Emily, Shelby, Hailey, and Zachary; Mother, Alice Cockerill; Sister, Melody (George) Underhill; Michelle was preceded in death by her father, L.D.
