Linda M. Schluckebier, a devoted Christian, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 31, 2026, in Bridgeport,

Linda was born on October 7, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Edward and Mary (Masica) Dankers. She was also lovingly raised by her stepmother, Ruth Dankers. She graduated from Bridgeport Spaulding High School in 1964, and throughout her life she carried the values of hard work, faith, and family that were rooted in her upbringing. She married Donald Schluckebier on April 20, 1968 and he survives her. Those who knew Linda will remember her as a woman of quiet strength, steady devotion, and a warm heart that welcomed others with kindness.

Linda spent her life serving the people she loved in many practical and meaningful ways. She was an important part of the farm work, where she helped by topping sugar beets in the fall, keeping up with book work, and making sure everyone was fed. Her care and diligence were a blessing to her family, and her presence brought order, comfort, and love to the daily rhythm of life. She also served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher for
many years, sharing her Christian faith and helping guide young hearts with patience and grace.

Linda found joy in simple and beautiful things. Traveling anywhere on or near the water was especially dear to her, and seeing the water was truly her happy place. She loved boating at the Bay City Yacht Club, where friendships grew into family and memories were made that would be
cherished for years to come. She also enjoyed baking and cooking her signature dishes for her family, and many will fondly remember the meals
she prepared with love. Linda was a wonderful storyteller, and she delighted in telling stories of her youth, often bringing laughter, reflection, and a sense of connection to those around her.

Family was the center of Linda’s life, and she treasured each generation with deep affection. She is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Mark Schluckebier and his wife Sherry, Chad Schluckebier, Curt Schluckebier and his wife
Cheryl, and Stephanie Frank. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Tage Trogan and Brimley Hillman, who brought her
great joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Marcia Kaul and her husband Dennis, Brian Best, and Bud Dankers and his wife Yvonne, along
with many nieces and nephews who will remember her with love.

Linda was also blessed with many dear extended family members, including her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Schluckebier, Connie
Schluckebier, Roxanne Lelo and her husband Walt, Pat Schomaker, Debbie Popp, and many others who shared in her life and love. She was preceded in

and steadfast devotion to those around her. Her family and friends will remember her for her gentle spirit, her strong work ethic, her love for
the water, and the many ways she made life brighter for others. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved her.
