Age 99 Years of Owosso passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Fr. Corr officiating. Christine will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. With a rosary at 5pm.
Christine was born December 22, 1926 in Linwood, Michigan the daughter of Lawrence and Delia (Seymour) Pomaville.
married September 6, 1947 to Alfred Martin. They had spent over 64 loving years together before his passing on May 21, 2011.
Professed member of Third Order of St. Francis in 1953.
Christine is survived by her children: Michael (Debbie) Martin, Jonathan (Mary Rae) Martin, Mary (David) Linabury, Joseph (Colleen) Martin, Anthony Martin, Catherine (Philip) Livingston, Joan (Mark) Lortarski, Monica (Scott) Chisolm, Christopher Martin, Anna (Bruce) Van Hyfte, Elizabeth (Todd) Ainsworth, Victoria (Michael) Denham, Madeline Martin, and Peter Martin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with several other loving family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents and husband, Alfred Martin, and daughter, Therese.
