JAREMA, ROBERT CARL – Of Grand Blanc, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home with loving family present.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Robert McGraw officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service and burial of cremains will take place later at Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Bob will be at church 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass.
A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Robert was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 22, 1954, the son of the late Carl and Aileen Jarema.
On April 30, 1982 he married Cindy Miller at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish.
Bob retired from GM in 2009.
Surviving are wife, Cindy;
sons and spouses, Carl H. (Cindy) Jarema, Robert B. (Lindsey) Jarema;
grandsons, Henry and Caleb Jarema, Liam and Owen Jarema;
siblings, Janet (Dennis) Loiselle, Joyce Jarema and Carol Beyer;
8 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie; parents, Carl and Aileen Jarema and sister, Charlene Mark.
