Mrs. Faye Janet Ketzbeau (nee: Lanckton) of Fenton, age 82 passed away Mon.
Dec. 4, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. Visitation will be Thurs. Dec. 7, 2017, from 4-8 pm at the Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St., Fenton. Faye was born March 12,1935 in Flint, the daughter of Wayne H. and Evelyn (nee: June) Lanckton. She married the Love of her life, Melvin Ketzbeau on July 26, 1951, in Mt.Morris. From the day they met there would never be a dull moment and every day was an adventure! Faye was a gentle soul who never met a stranger. Besides caring for her husband and 5 children she worked for Creative Foam, Hazeltine Perkins and cared for other working womens' children, all of whom she loved as if they were her own. Faye was a lifetime learner who loved to read all genres of literature and returned to school 30 years after leaving to earn her HS diploma in 1981, the same year her youngest son graduated from HS. She took up painting in acrylics and watercolor in her 40's and quilting and crochet in her 50's. Faye is survived by her husband of 66 years, Mel; children, Valerie (Ronald) Land, Steven (Norma), Craig (Debbie), Lynn (Paul) Birchmeier, Gerald (Emilie); proud grandma of Amanda, and Caleb, Heather, Ronnie, Angie and Eric, Holly and David, Kristen and Rob, Kevin and Sonia, David and Carolyn, Clark, Lucas, Donald and Lisa and Sara and Donald; and
great grandma of 24. Also surviving her are siblings; Wayne (Shirley) Lanckton
of Grawn, Gary Lanckton of Lapeer, and Kathleen Percy of White Lake; special Sister of the Heart, Svana Lamb of Ft. Dodge, IA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law Mahlon and Ethel Ketchabaw, and brother-in-law George Ketchabaw. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a
