SELLERS, Rodney Paul - Age 72, of Venice, FL, formerly of Fenton, passed away July 15, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Wes Morris will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Monday, July 26 and from 9AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to The Rock Church. Rodney was born July 9, 1949 in Flint, the son of Donald Raymond and Geneva Pearl (Hodson) Sellers. Following retirement from General Motors he moved to Venice, FL to enjoy the sunshine. He was an active member of the Venice Moose Lodge. Rodney had a life-long passion for music and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends. He was a fun-loving, generous man; always the life of the party and was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Anne (Rich) Strong and Maria McGuckin; former wife, Ellen Sellers; grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, Joshua and Paige; brothers, Gary (Lois) Sellers and Doug Sellers; sister, Suzanne (George) Zelenbaba; many nieces and nephews.
