JOHNS, Kenneth - Of Flint, age 93, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, at Willowbrook Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Jeremy Peters officiating.
Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday and 12Noon Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
Kenneth was born in Flint, Michigan on October 22, 1932, the son of the late Raymond and Florence (McCrum) Johns. He was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church, Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers. Kenneth was a pasty maker par excellence for Methodist Men. He also was a tree tapper and maple syrup maker. Kenneth was employed by Fisher Body as a Tool and Die Maker.
Surviving are wife, Alfreda;
Daughters, Patricia Johns and Donna Johns;
Grandchildren, Timothy Johns, Caitlin Johns, Kathryn Pittman, and Felyx Johns;
Great-grandchildren, Dean Hart, Zara Hart, Scarlette Johns and Christian Pittman.
He was preceded in death by his son. Paul Johns.
