PRUSAC, LUKA “LOUIE”– Of Flint, age 60, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to Jamison’s College Education Fund.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Parastas Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Luka was born in Yugoslavia on June 9, 1958, the son of Stojan and Mira Prusac.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and St. Stevan Decanski Serbian Orthodox Church in Warren, Michigan for nearly 40 years.
He enjoyed landscaping, loved Michigan sports, Tigers, U of M and Lions.
He loved being outdoors and going to northern Michigan. Above all else, he loved being with his family.
Surviving are daughter, Alexis (Mark) Liley;
son, Matthew;
father, Stojan;
mother, Mira;
grandson, Jamison;
brothers, Ljubomir (Jon) and Danny;
many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Ljubomir Prusac.
