ADAMS, Herbert Leo - Age 89 of Fenton, passed away April 1, 2024. Funeral Service 2:00PM Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.Visitation 2:00 PM-8:00 PM Saturday and 12:00 PM -2:00 PM Sunday. Interment Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial Contributions in Herbert's memory would be appreciated to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Herbert was born March 24, 1935 in Detroit, the son of Jacob and Esther (Rood) Adams. He married Barbara Champagne in Detroit on May 26, 1956. Herbert graduated from Cass Tech High School in 1953. He received his Masters Degree in Engineering from Wayne State University. Herbert was employed as a Design Engineer with Ford Motor Company for 35 years, retiring in 1991. He was a 50 years member of The Shriners and his Shriners Clown name was Wisper. Herbert recently was honored as a member of the Jesters. He also was a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Order of Alhambra. Herbert enjoyed playing golf.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Darlene (Walt) Querio and Laura (Chuck) Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy (Christin) Smith, Malinda (Derick) Querio, Robert (Amanda) Smith, Alyse (Brian) Querio, Thomas (Jessica) Smith; great grandchildren, Blake, Avery, Vincent, Audrey, Emma, Everett, Tyler and Jenna; several nieces and nephews.
