ROSE, SHIRLEY M.- Of Flint, age 89, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. David Cox officiating.
Visitation will be held at 1pm on Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Shirley was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on September 25, 1936, the daughter to the late Fredrick and Hazel Carr.
She collected donations for the Easter Seals she was a member of the Eastern Star.
Shirley was employed at Ainsworth for over 40 years.
She is survived by daughter Teresa Rose, sons Keith Rose, Richard Rose 3 grandchildren Ricky, Christine and Harmony, 5 great grandchildren, sister Marie Brinkley and sister-in-law Rachael Simonsen.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milford V Rose and daughter Barbara Mae Hamlin Rose.
