BEEDE, Keneth Ted “Ted” – Of St. Joseph MI, age 67, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025.
A memorial service will be held 12Noon Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Donald Clark officiating.
Visitation 3-7pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Ted was born in Flint Michigan on September 21, 1957. He married Nancy Ann Maxwell on December 12, 1981, in Flint, Michigan. Ted spent 44 dedicated years working at General Motors, primarily in the role of an electrician. Ted was a graduate of Carmen High School, Class of 1975. In 1981, Ted married the love of his life, Nancy. They have been together for over 43 years. Ted was an ardent fan of baseball and football & memorabilia. He loved music and attending concerts. He was an adventurous traveler all over the world. As a young parent, his dedication extended to his community, where he volunteered his time as a coach for both tee ball and soccer. A proud member of the Twin City Camera Club, he thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years living in Saint Joseph, Michigan, where he enjoyed bike riding, watching sunsets, and enjoying life by the lake with his family. Ted was an extremely proud and supportive parent of all of his children as they span the country following their dreams. His grandchildren, Axel and Winifred, were a constant source of happiness and smiles, and he was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his son's daughter, Adeline, later this month. He was a loving and generous husband, father, and grandfather. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
Surviving are wife, Nancy Beede, daughter, Brittany Wirtz, sons, Blake Beede and Brendon Beede, son-in-law, Jason Wirtz, grandson, Axel Wirtz, granddaughter, Winifred Wirtz, daughter-in-law, Haley Beede, sister, Janis Werschky, brother-in-law Dr. Jay Werschky and an extensive brother and sister in-laws of his wife's family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Helen Beede, and sister Jill Beede.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out and given support. We all miss him greatly.
